Seedance 2.5 API pricing through Runway

Runway Dev bills Seedance 2.5 in credits. Output resolution sets the per-second rate; input and reference video can add a second per-second charge.

Published credit rates

• 480p: 20 credits per output second, plus 10 credits per input or reference video second.
• 720p: 30 credits per output second, plus 15 credits per input or reference video second.
• 1080p: 68 credits per output second, plus 34 credits per input or reference video second.

Runway lists each credit at $0.01 and an 80-credit minimum per generation. Reference images and audio are free. Combined input and reference video duration is capped at 30 seconds for billing. The API documentation separately limits combined reference-video and reference-audio duration to under 30 seconds; audio reference duration does not add video credits.

Example estimates

For a 5-second output with no video input, the listed rates produce 100 credits ($1.00) at 480p, 150 credits ($1.50) at 720p, and 340 credits ($3.40) at 1080p. A 10-second video input/reference adds 100, 150, or 340 credits respectively. The 80-credit minimum matters for shorter or otherwise lower-credit generations.

Supported modes and duration

The API supports text-to-video, image-to-video, and video-to-video. Seedance 2.5 supports 4–30 second outputs at 480p, 720p, and 1080p. Video-to-video has reference and extend modes. Aspect ratios and reference limits depend on the endpoint; check the API input guide before submitting a request.
