About RenderCents

RenderCents is an independently operated cost-planning tool for people making AI-generated videos. It helps you estimate generation costs before you commit to an API host or a production budget.

Why we built it

The same video model can be offered by several hosts, with different prices, billing units, output limits, and reference-input charges. A price per second alone may leave out costs that matter to a project. RenderCents keeps the model and API host together so you can compare the service you actually plan to use.

How pricing is checked

The catalog records a provider source, a verification date, and the settings covered by each listed rate. The calculator uses those recorded rates rather than requesting a new price quote from the provider on every visit. A verification date tells you when a rate was checked; it is not a promise that the provider has kept it unchanged.

When a supported price cannot be confirmed for your settings, the tool displays an unavailable or unverified result. It does not treat a missing price as free. Read the pricing methodology for the billing formulas and currency-conversion limits.

What an estimate includes

The Quick Calculator estimates a batch of generations. The Project Calculator uses your planned runtime, scene length, attempts, and buffer to estimate the footage you may need to generate. These are planning assumptions: the tool cannot predict which clips will be usable or how many retries your project will require.

Taxes, discounts, subscription fees, failed-request policies, and charges not represented by a listed formula can change the final bill. Confirm the selected endpoint's terms before purchasing credits or submitting generations.

Independence and limitations

RenderCents does not generate videos, sell API credits, or ask for your API keys. Listing a model or linking to a provider does not imply a partnership or endorsement. Prices and capabilities belong to the providers, whose documentation is the authority for their services.

You can use the calculator without an account. Read our privacy policy for browser preferences, exchange-rate requests, and hosting information. For corrections or questions, contact us.
